Dan Gurtner has been at Bethel Seminary since 2005 where he teaches New Testament, Greek Grammar and Greek exegesis. He is co-chairman of the SBL Matthew Section and former editorial board member for the Bulletin for Biblical Research (2006-2008). His research interests are in the New Testament Gospels (especially Matthew and Mark) and their interface with the Hebrew Bible and Second Temple Judaism. Gurtner is an ordained minister and active in the life and ministry of his home church. He and his wife Beth have been married since 2001, and they have three children.
